Einladung zur nationalen Konferenz des AIDB

Ich habe eine Einladung von Guido Moradei, dem Leiter des Italienischen Verbandes für Patentinformationsspezialisten bekommen:

Dear colleagues, on behalf of the Italian Association of Patent Documentalists AIDB I am very pleased to welcome you and your association within the number of existing European patent information user groups! I also hope to see the Recherchezirkel soon in the CEPIUG. I take the opportunity to inform you that AIDB every year hold a national conference on a different theme together with its members' social meeting. This year the theme of the conference will be "Patent Information for the Competitive Intelligence" - Institutional sources, industry experiences, tools and skills for a competitive monitoring of innovation through patents, and the location is Trieste, at the north-eastern border of Italy. The program is still under finalization. The AREA Science Park will guest the event (see http://www.area.trieste.it) on June 18 (meeting) and 19 (conference). We are used to invite a representative of a foreign group of colleagues to make a 20/30' presentation (in English) at our meeting about her/his group, patent information in her/his country, training opportunities, etc. and this year we will be very pleased to invite a representative of the Recherchezirkel. We offer to cover the costs for accomodation in Trieste for the night of June 18, including the AIDB social dinner of 18 evening, which this year will take place on the seaside or very close to the sea in Trieste. Unfortunately most presentations are in Italian language, but I hope that talking with our members can offer an interesting opportunity for you as will be certainly for us to better know each other, exchange opinions about our own national practice, the group organization, etc. I enclose a presentation about AIDB done at WON (NL group) in november 2007 for their 30th anniversary to give you some information about our group which now have 103 members. Unfortunately we have chosen the same days of the German Patinfo, therefore perhaps many of you probably have already planned to go to Ilmenau. I look forward to hearing from you, if possible within the next week.

Da ich leider zu diesem Termin nicht kann, würde ich gerne ein Mitglied des Recherchezirkels (vorzugsweise mit Italienischkenntnissen) zu dieser Konferenz schicken. Wer Interesse hat, kann sich gerne bei mir melden.

JuraBlogs 2.0

Herzlichen Glückwunsch an Matthias Klappenbach für den zumindest optisch gelungenen Relaunch von Jurablogs. Die neuen Funktionen habe ich noch nicht im Detail ausprobiert, klingen aber vielversprechend. Worauf ich noch gespannt bin, sind die angekündigten Funktionen für die Autoren der teilnehmenden Blogs.

Jetzt aber genug geschmeichelt! Was mir an der neuen Version bitter aufgefallen ist, ist die Funktion der Themenwolke "Je röter, in desto mehr unterschiedlichen Blogs". Da ich, so wie über 9% der Deutschen eine Rot-Grün-Sehschwäche habe, ist dieses Feature für mich praktisch nutzlos.

Dennoch viel Erfolg mit der wenn auch nicht ganz barrierefreien Seite!
